Happy Fourth of July! It certainly didn't feel much like the holiday in the traditional sense due to the rainy weather we all had, but I know a lot of you managed to see some fireworks anyway! Hopefully you were able to make the best of it, and enjoy the day off as much as possible! Things have been extremely busy here... which is GREAT!! But, it does mean that I have less time to write here, and share the stories and images of the amazing people I meet!
As for news here at Amanda Padgham Photography.... well as you read above I will be the commercial photographer for a line called Creativity for Kids ( http://www.creativityforkids.com/) which is based out of Cleveland, Ohio at the end of the month. I am super excited about it, and will try to share what I have when I get home. In addition, if you get a chance when you're at Wegmans or Barnes and Noble, pick up the Rochester Magazine- we have a full page ad that I LOVE (thanks to the wonderful people at Twin Advertising!) Sessions are booking into late August at this point and I am already starting to schedule fall sessions. Please remember that although it seems like a long time away, fall is an extremely busy time as people are thinking about not only the great foliage for portraits but setting up holiday sessions as well. So, if you are planning on an autumn/holiday session please call asap to secure a spot.
Ok, enough of my rambling... here is an image that seemed appropriate given the rainy weather yesterday. This wonderful family braved the misty rain and we had an incredible session. I guess it just goes to show that while life isn't always sunny and bright, good things really can come from the rainy days....
